I have seen people who do seem to get angry - but those are the jerks and generally they just leave the table. The idea of people getting mad at others for poor play at a blackjack table is far overblown - generally gets brought up by people who are overly sensitive or just need more confidence. I believe I'm up on basic strategy enough not to make any stupid moves, but I don't need some BJ master mad at me for sitting at their table. It would seem to me that in an 8-deck game, it would be hard to do that, and why would one person's bet affect yours? Are they talking about situations as if they were sitting to your right and hit on 13 when the dealer is showing a 2, thereby getting 'your' card which ends up being a K or something? I understand how they could think they are stupid when they don't play well, but how would it affect your bet? Perhaps there is card counting going on or something and it messes you up? I don't get it. I've seen on this forum and others how BJ players get 'mad' when newbies sit at their tables. Little nervous, but I have been doing well and think I can do well when actual money is involved. Ready to try a table for my first time on my trip to Vegas in April. Ok, I've brushed up on the basic strategy and do really great playing online free.
